Aidion confirms that an active order exists and that the exam type matches what was ordered, then checks whether prior authorization is required and approved. If the order is missing, it notifies the referring office or your scheduling team instead of booking.
02 · EXAM PREP
The right prep for every exam.
Aidion gives exam-specific instructions, such as fasting before a contrast CT or abdominal ultrasound, drinking water before a pelvic ultrasound, or avoiding deodorant before a mammogram. Instructions are repeated in the reminder.
03 · MRI SAFETY
Safety questions resolved before the scanner.
Aidion asks your MRI safety-screening questions about pacemakers, implants, metal fragments and other devices. Any positive answer is flagged for technologist review before the appointment.
04 · MAMMOGRAPHY
Screening or diagnostic, booked correctly.
Aidion asks whether the patient has a new symptom, such as a lump, or is coming in for routine screening, and books the correct exam type. Diagnostic exams are scheduled in the right slots with radiologist availability.
SAME-DAY OPENINGS
Open scanner time, refilled with ready patients.
When a slot opens, Aidion contacts patients with approved orders and completed authorizations who can arrive in time and complete any required prep, and offers them the opening.
RESULTS QUESTIONS
Results questions go to the ordering provider.
Aidion explains that results are sent to the ordering provider and tells patients when that typically happens. Questions about what results mean are routed to the ordering provider.
