PAIN MANAGEMENT

Procedure-ready patients, policy-compliant refills.

Interventional pain practices combine procedures with tightly controlled medication management. Aidion schedules epidural steroid injections, nerve blocks, and radiofrequency ablations, confirms each patient has a driver, and sends blood-thinner questions to clinical staff. Controlled-substance refill requests are routed according to your pain agreement policy and are never approved automatically. Monthly medication visits stay on schedule, and patients hear when insurance has authorized their procedure.

THE CHALLENGE

Procedures and prescriptions, both under strict rules.

Interventional pain practices run procedure days that fall apart without a driver, an authorization or a medication hold — alongside medication management that demands consistent monthly visits and policy-compliant handling of every controlled-substance request.

BUILT FOR PAIN MANAGEMENT

Procedure days full, medication policy followed.

Interventional scheduling, controlled-substance routing, monthly visits and complete intake — handled on the phone.

01 · INTERVENTIONAL PROCEDURES

Every procedure booked the right length, in the right place.

Aidion books epidural steroid injections, nerve blocks, radiofrequency ablations and spinal cord stimulator trials with the correct visit length and location. It confirms a driver for sedated procedures and checks that prior authorization is approved before the procedure date.

02 · CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES

Never approved automatically. Always documented.

Controlled-substance requests are routed according to your pain agreement policy and are never approved by Aidion. It verifies the patient and medication details, checks whether a medication management visit is due, and creates a task for your provider's review.

03 · MONTHLY VISITS

Medication management, month after month.

Aidion books monthly visits for patients on ongoing medication therapy, sends reminders, and contacts patients who miss appointments to rebook quickly — helping your practice meet monitoring requirements.

04 · NEW PATIENTS

Intake done by phone, not at the first visit.

Aidion collects the referral, pain location and history, prior treatments and imaging records, then books the new-patient consultation. Patients are told which records and medication lists to bring.

BLOOD THINNERS

Medication holds handled before procedure day.

Aidion identifies patients taking anticoagulant or antiplatelet medications during booking and routes their questions to your clinical staff as structured cases. Hold instructions always come from your providers.

PROCEDURE AUTHORIZATION

Approved? Booked before they hang up.

Aidion tells patients whether their procedure authorization is pending, approved, or denied, based on the status in your system. Approved patients can be booked on the same call.

EHR INTEGRATION

Works inside leading EHRs.

Appointments are booked into your live schedule, and every call outcome — claim details, imaging notes, refill requests — is written back to the chart, so your team never re-keys a message.

BEYOND THE ANSWERING SERVICE

A message isn't a booked visit.

Messages turn into callbacks, phone tag, and lost patients. Aidion resolves the request while the patient is still on the line.

GETTING STARTED

Live in days, built around how your practice already works.

Aidion is configured to your scheduling rules — not the other way around.
